Use the following as a guide in helping identify your Z80 chip for assistance in high score kit and multigame kit installation.
To confuse things, not all Z80 chips have the text "Z80" on them. The NEC Z80 chips which are very common in arcade games. The NEC Z80 chip has the text "D780C-1" silked screened on it. While other manufacturers use other part numbers, most still have "Z80" silked screened on the chip somewhere.
